Give or Raise Money

Host a private event or attend a public event. Sell lemonade or host a black tie dinner. Come up with an original idea or copy another. Have fun and donate the proceeds to Branford Cares.
Purchase services or goods from those businesses donating a portion of sales to Branford Cares. Look for the Branford Cares poster in the window of businesses, shops and restaurants. Or, check the list on this site.
A direct donation is most welcome! No amount is too small. We appreciate the generosity in your heart and thank you for it. Remember, every penny raised goes to those who need it the most. Make your check payable to Branford Cares and mail to 1109 Main Street, Branford, CT 06405.
Surprise somebody! Whether you know the people hosting an event or not, or who run a listed business or not, you can match proceeds from any event that strikes your fancy. You can also create your own group that you might want to encourage, e.g. high school kids, or any member of a particular organization. Maybe you think the originality or simplicity of an event idea deserves an ‘atta boy (or girl!)’ and the proceeds deserve a boost!
Email us to let us know who you want to support and how many dollars you can contribute. Matched funds will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis as events are reported. Thank you in advance! -

Organizers of public events may welcome eager volunteers to lighten the load. There is much to be done. We need everyone’s help! Send us an email with your name and contact information and we will be in touch as needs arise.

Help Spread the News!

(1) Wear the Branford Cares button, pass on the pamphlet, help spread the word! It will take all of us to meet the goals.
(2) Communicate on Facebook, Twitter, email, text, whatever you prefer, to spread the word. Tell everyone to visit branfordcares.org. Come up with a plan and good things will happen!(3) During the summer campaign buttons, pamphlets and posters will be available at the Branford Cares tent at the Branford Festival, and on the steps of Trinity Church at the Thursday evening summer Jazz Festival concerts on the Green. Wear your button and spread the word! Download the Branford Cares logo to add to your invitation or flyer. Also, download pamphlets to share and posters to display. Thank You!!
